Hardest part of AIT was cleaning up the mess on post after Hurricane Isabel hit. Direct the preparation of accounting reports and maintenance records for petroleum distribution operations. Develop, supervise, and coordinate unit procedures and programs on environmentally sound handling of petroleum products and water CMs. Monitor quality surveillance procedures for petroleum or water. Today’s 92A Soldier performs the duties of 16 supply MOSs from the Vietnam. Determine requirements for bulk fuel and packaged petroleum products requirements, storage space, distribution system, water products. In 1993, the Army created the MOS 92A (automated logistical specialist) by combining MOSs 76C, 76P, 76V, and 76X.
